Cobot Seam Tracking Offered by PCC Robotics Group
In this video, we demonstrate how easy it is to use Seam Tracking technology with a collaborative robot (Cobot) welding system to address common challenges like part fit-up variations and warping during the welding process. WeCobot and Fronius partner their technology for standardized seam tracking, such that no calibration or setup is required when changing from part to part.
Seam tracking helps the robot maintain precision and accuracy by adjusting its path in real-time based on part geometry changes, ensuring consistent weld quality even when parts are slightly misaligned or warped. You can pair seam tracking with other advanced programs, such as Multi-Pass welding, where you can track the root pass, and extrapolate those changes throughout the multiple passes.
This advanced technology allows for faster, more reliable welding with minimal downtime and rework. Watch as we show how to set up and use this system to improve the efficiency and quality of your welding operations.
About GCG's PCC Robotics Group
Serving Midwest manufacturers, PCC Robotics delivers turnkey collaborative robot (cobot) based systems utilizing Universal-Robots as its foundation. These systems are often commissioned in hours/days vs. weeks/months allowing the manufacturer to quickly realize the ROI, which is typically less than 200 days.
