Latest software release makes mobile robots compatible with shelf applications.
GCG is excited to announce that it will be offering MiR Shelf, a new top module that can be mounted on MiR500 and MiR1000 robots, as one of its premier robotics solutions. The new application will allow the robots to autonomously pick up and drop off shelves, similar to MiR’s smaller robots.
The Shelf Lift can work within production facilities, warehouses, and in a host of other industrial locations. In addition, MiR has included a new docking function, Post Docking. The new post docking allows the MiR500 and MiR1000 to dock to the shelf using just the four legs of the shelf, which removes the need for a sidewall.
