Most electricians would agree that a ferruled termination is much better than a non-ferruled termination, if you’d ask them. Historically, the procedure for crimping ferrules was cumbersome and required multiple tools. This resulted in an increased amount of time needed per termination, preventing electricians from using ferrules unless they were absolutely necessary.
Introducing the Weidmueller Stripax Plus 2.5, the all-in-one tool to make cutting, stripping and crimping as quick and easy as possible. The tool features a ratchet to advance the strips of ferrules and guarantee precise trapezoidal crimping of 14 to 20 gauge (0.5 to 2.5mm²) wires.
