Integrated Systems
The GCG cobot process guides your project from feasibility and ROI analysis through installation, training, and long-term support.
Integrated Systems
At GCG, integrated systems mean more than a robot arm—they are fully customized, turnkey solutions that bring together every element of the cobot ecosystem. From end-of-arm tooling and vision systems to safety devices, conveyors, and software, each component is designed to work in sync with your processes. The result is a seamless automation platform that maximizes efficiency, accuracy, and measurable performance across your operation.

Methodology
We follow a structured process to bring cobot projects to life—starting from feasibility and ROI justification, through system design and execution, to installation, training, and long-term support. Every phase is handled by experienced engineers to ensure technical accuracy, clear communication, and successful outcomes.
1
Feasibility
We evaluate potential cobot applications by identifying tasks that are repetitive, dangerous, or inefficient. Key factors like reach, payload, and speed help us determine whether automation is possible and what type of solution is appropriate.
2
Justification
Most capital investments require an ROI within 1–2 years. We help you build a clear financial case for automation by identifying where cobots can drive measurable improvements. From increased throughput and faster cycle times to the ability to run off-shifts and reduce labor strain, we quantify the operational and financial gains.
3
Conceptualize
In this stage, we create a high-level concept to visualize the system. This could include 3D simulations, safety discussions, mockups in CAD, or proof-of-concept builds. Our goal is to ensure all stakeholders understand how the system will function in your environment.
4
Scope Definition
In this phase, we formalize the scope of work so both teams are aligned and prepared. We clearly define who is responsible for what, outline what is included and excluded, and identify any shared responsibilities that could reduce overall cost. This step ensures there are no surprises down the line. Once the scope is agreed upon, we generate a formal proposal that documents the plan, expectations, and final cost.
5
Project Execution
Once the order is received, our applications engineers, systems engineers, and project managers begin executing the project. This includes design, build, wiring, plumbing, programming, testing, and a full FAT (Factory Acceptance Test). Frequent communication keeps all parties aligned—any design changes are reviewed together. Safety considerations and risk assessments are completed during the design phase to ensure all requirements are met. Our goal is to make sure everyone is prepared for exactly what will arrive on your factory floor in a matter of weeks.
6
Installation
We don’t hand off projects—we follow them into the field. Our engineers handle layout, setup, and live production testing. We ensure every system is fully functional before we leave the site. Our engineering team will follow each system into the field, preparing and setting the system up for production. From laying out the cell, mounting and preparing all components, programming and running the system, and more – our goal is to leave the install in a perfect running state.
7
Knowledge Transfer
We prioritize hands-on training to ensure your team can confidently run and modify the system after installation. Our engineers work directly with your operators, engineers, and maintenance staff—covering both classroom-style instruction and live, in-cell training. Before we leave site, your team will know how to update existing programs, create new ones, and perform routine adjustments. Our goal is for you to fully own the system from day one.
8
Support
We aim to be your first call when support is needed—whether it’s the robot, the program, or an accessory. Our team will help troubleshoot issues, assist with warranty claims, and connect you with the robot OEM if needed to expedite resolution. Additional training resources are available as required. Our success depends on your system running reliably in the field, and we’re committed to keeping it that way long after installation.
